Ben Speggen - (JES)
Ben Speggen is the Vice President of the Jefferson Educational Society, where he helps to lead the nonpartisan think tank’s programming, publications, civic leadership academy, and public policy work. He serves as a contributing editor of the Erie Reader, an independent publication that produces monthly newspapers and quarterly magazines. Previously, he hosted a community affairs-based radio show for a local NPR-affiliate station, and taught research, writing, and literature at the college level. A first-generation college graduate, he studied literature, history, and journalism, and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Gannon University.
